CHILDREN BEYOND – JAI DA DA – Prayer of the Soul

Together with 30 children from different cultures and nations, the three singers have recorded sung versions of twelve prayers and mantras from the religions Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism
The three singers and the children interpret the affirming formulae of all world religions with the message «We are all one!»

Snatam Kaur – Earth Prayer

“Pavan Guru Pani Pita Mata Dharat Mahat
(English Translation: Air is the Guru, Water is the Father, the Great Earth is our Mother)”

I enjoyed listening to the tranquil music and soothing prayer. May the air continue to guide us as our Guru, may the water watch over us as our Father and may the Great Earth take care of us and provide for all our needs as our Mother.

Somewhere out there – Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram (with lyrics)

SOMEWHERE OUT THERE (James Ingram and Linda Ronstadt)

Somewhere out there,
Beneath the pale blue night,
Someone’s thinking of me,
And loving me tonight.
Somewhere out there,
Someone’s saying a prayer,
Then we’ll find one another,
In that big somewhere out there.

(Chorus 1)
And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishing
On the same bright star,
And when the night will start to sing
A lonesome lullaby,
It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the
Same big sky.

(Chorus 2)
Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then, we’ll be together,
Somewhere out there, out where dreams, come true.

(Repeat Chorus 1)

(Repeat Chorus 2)
