Regarding this inspiring TED talk on the transformative power of classical music, it is fascinating to hear and see how classical music has a universal appeal, and how everyone seems to have an innate ability to understand the musical notes, and it is just that some aren’t awakened to their ability yet.

Like the speaker said, “the conductor doesn’t make a sound. He depends, for his power, on his ability to make other people powerful. And that changed everything for me. It was totally life-changing. People in my orchestra said, “Ben, what happened?” That’s what happened. I realized my job was to awaken possibility in other people.”

I also love how such music can awaken possibility and evoke emotions, passions and memories in people that they probably never knew have resided in them all this while.
